How a tour day runs in StratoSMS

Open the operation
Date, location, aircraft and pilot. One record holds the whole day.

Pilot completes the risk assessment
One assessment covers a continuous tour block while conditions stay materially unchanged.

Ground staff build the next group
Names, weights, contacts, waivers and seats — on a phone, without the pilot's device.

Seats get assigned
Aircraft-specific layouts with running weight totals and a configurable alert threshold.

Flights get flown
Each flight group is recorded against the operation.

Anyone can report a concern
From the operation, the report already knows the aircraft, pilot, time, location and manifest.

Conditions change materially
A new risk assessment is required before the next block.

Pilot closes out
The manifest cannot become final until the pilot reviews and approves it. Then it locks.

Manifests are prepared by whoever is free. Prepared By and Pilot in Command are recorded separately.

After pilot approval the record locks. A later correction becomes an amendment showing old value, new value, who and why.

Passenger and group weight totals are shown as you load. We do not present this as a certified weight and balance calculation.
